Ooh Baby Baby

I've attended a couple baby showers in the past few months for people I absolutely adore and wanted to share some of the goodies I made their little ones as gifts.

These first few are for a friend of mine, her and her husband love outdoor adventures and I can only imagine their little boy will be enjoying them right along with them.

Rumor has it, they've already got a 3 wheeler waiting for him

I couldn't resist with the mustaches... and suspenders!

pretty self- explanatory.  haha

Anyone who knows KCCO will understand this one.

Ok, this one moved my heart strings a bit.  My friend is a squatch believer and as soon as we found out she was having a baby, everyone made little Bigfoot jokes, her baby shower invitations were even themed around it... I think I loved this one as much as she did, the look on her face when she opened it was the best reaction I think I've ever gotten.  That is why I love doing what I do.

These last 2 cuties were for my cousin who is having a baby in August.  I can't wait to see his little face!  His daddy loves dinosaurs as a baby theme and his momma loves the red/black batman character so of course I had to make something to make them both happy.

This is a hooded towel that I added the dino and saying to.

Enough said about this little one!  He'll be born with a cape on!

Hope you loved them!

Wine Bottle Tags - Gift Tags

I've been working on some wine-bottle tags for up-coming craft shows and I wanted to share some of them with you.  It's nice to have a variety of designs for all occasions.

These first 2 are wedding themed, same background paper was used but very different designs.

This one is simple, a stamped image and sentiment over the patterned paper embellished with gems.  I went over the entire dress with a black glitter pen to add more sparkle.  A girl can never have too much sparkle on her wedding day.

this one was also a stamped image but itw as applied to a cream colored background and cut out by hand.  I colored the image, added the sentiment and of course some gems to her hair and used glitter pens to doll up the accents.

This one cracks me up.  It was for a lady who retired at work and the sentiment fits her perfectly.

More designs to come

Custom Designed Clothing

This post will be very picture heavy.  There have been a number of clothing items I've made recently and haven't posted about.  I wanted to display them all at once so that you weren't bored seeing them one by one.  I will of course have descriptions and information attached to each one shown below.

These are some work out pants that my cousin requested.  I think they are hilarious and the whole time I kept thinking about making ones that say oh my quad Becky, look at her butt.  ha.  Oh that song!!

These next 2 pink tees are youth small, I made them for my nieces for valentine's day.  They wear them as night shirts now and of course they look adorable in them... I am a bit partial though :)

This sweatshirt has become one of my all time favorites.  I designed it for my best friend who has a bow accented in pink.  She wore it when she visited me and it was great to hear all the people commenting on how neat it was.  I made myself on on a grey sweatshirt and the girl and arrow are both in a dark teal color.  I see more of these in my future.  The possibilities are endless.

OOh. another fun one!  I got to go to a Luke Bryan concert with some family/friends back and I wanted so badly to make a shirt for a friend of mine.  She came up with the saying she wanted and gave me free rein on how to design it.  I really like how it came out and I've seen her wear it a few times which is fun to see as well.

I hope you like them so far.  Sorry there's not much of a design theme in this post.  I promise there will be more to come.  I've got lots of projects I've been holding onto that I need to post and share.

For the love of dogs

We've all got pets that we love to pieces and why not represent those family members on our shirts?

I created the sweatshirt below for my cousin who has always owned beautiful German short-hair pointers and they are truly her kiddos.  She sent me the main design and I added the paw prints as extra details to represent her current 3 pups.

This little t-shirt I made as a valentines shirt for one of my nieces.  She has a dotson puppy and I wanted to make a shirt that she could wear other than just on the holiday to get the most use out of it. The writing is in solid while and the paw prints are made with black glitter to add a little bling.

I hope you like these as much as I enjoyed hearing their excitement when they were opened.

Personalized Wine Glasses

Recently a lady at work retired after 28 years of service at my work.  The team put together a basket for her with tons of goodies that she always talked about.  She was constantly joking around about wine and her goofy sense of humor.  I knew once someone said they would buy wine for the basket, we had to make her some sort of glasses to add to it.

A little bit of background:  Melanie is very outgoing and loves dragons and Renaissance type decor.  At one point, she was telling us as a running joke in her family, they bought a life-size family of skeletons and place them in their friends and nephew's homes when they go to visit.  Through out the years, the skeleton family has grown to include a cat and dog as well.

I was scanning through some clip art trying to find a fun dragon image and the skeleton image came up.  It was a must use!  I was so excited.  I then went on a font website and downloaded a Renaissance type font to use for their names.  I really liked how they came out and she was over the moon excited about them when she opened up the basket.

Cards - 3D flowers and washi tape

Hi all, time for a paper project, since it's been a while :)
In October, I took a trip to California and while I was there, I attended a Scrapbook Expo and took some classes with my cousin.  We learned how to make these 3D flowers in multiple sizes.  I've been putting off playing around with them because that's just what I seem to do when I get a new product that looks intimating. haha.

It's pretty exciting to see what you can turn just a blank white piece of paper into with a few simple tools.

I made this Jaded Blossom card and accented it with some flowers that I made.  I really like the colors on this one.

For this card, I tried a few different things that I've never used before on cards.  The flowers, 2 different sizes.  I like how the big one turned out because it's wrinkled, sort of adds a different type of dimension to it.  The purple and yellow background on this one is all made out of decorative tape placed on a white sheet of paper.  The tape is called washi tape and I have had a few rolls but never really knew what to do with them.  During the Expo, I took another class with my cousin that talked about anew line of product that was coming out and how to use them.
.

Hope you like them, I look forward to challenging my self with more new products soon.

Travel Make Up Bags

Today is a quick post, not much to say other than how much I love this project!!!

I've had this project in my mind for a long time and I'm excited that I finally got to put it together.

These are little 8"x4" zippered pouches that are perfect for travel items or make up to keep with you close by.  I have a million other designs in my head to make for them.

I'd be happy to make other colors/designs on the bags too!

Work Out Shirts

Another post of fun shirts that I've been stacking up pictures of.

My cousins have kept me busy with some fun designs!
I can't wait to do more of these.

This one wasn't a requested but it made for a perfect gift.
The pink Sweat and Wine are made of dark pink glitter and the wine glass is a black glitter.
Everyone needs to sparkle at the gym

Love how this one turned out too!!

Stay tuned for more down the road

Cowboys and Princesses

I have gotten more and more comfortable with making and designing shirts and am loving the outcome of all of them!

Around Christmas time when my mom was in town to lend a much needed helping hand for my craft shows, we played around with a few different styles and designs.  Here is the out come.

This little guy was my mom's idea and we're in love with how he came out.
"Real Cowboy's Don't Take Baths"

This little one I've done on quite a few other projects but as soon as I saw this black glitter vinyl, I knew what needed to be done.  haha.

"Real Princesses Don't Kiss Toads"

I also made one with pink glitter and man has it been a hit!  Nothing says little girl like pink and sparkles.

These 2 are definitely keepers in my stash for the future.

I hope you like them!

Cutting boards, cutting board,s and more cutting boards

Hi all!!

It's been a few months since I've posted but no need to worry, I have pictures of all of my creations.

Today I wanted to share the cutting boards I worked on recently.  Some are very similar to those I have shared in the past.  Some others have fun special stories that I'll share along the way.

Of course we had to share the seahawks love around the Washington area!

This was my new design for the year.  Everyone I shared it with seemed to really love it.  You'll be seeing more of this design in another post a bit down the road

A few different versions of my original this house runs best on love laughter and lots of Jack Daniels.

This board turned out really nice.  It was for a housewarming gift for a sweet couple who recently bought their first home

Ok... fun story with this one.  I was approached at a craft fair asking about a custom order, something with wolfs and the word wolfpack.  The gentleman asking for the board was in his late 60's and seemed a bit shy about asking for it.  I instanlty thought of the movie Hangover but was almost positive he had another reason.  Nope, he said he hangs out with his son and a group of his son's friends, they are all in their 30's - He is known as grandpa wolf.  haha.  Loved it!!

This one was another super fun challenge.  I was asked by a couple at my last show of the season to create a board with a 54 ford pick up on it.  They showed me the picture of his dad's truck and I went to work.  I searched high and low for hours to find a picture that I really liked and that would do his truck justice on a piece of glass.  Finally... I came across the original blue prints from the Ford website and created this little number.  They were beyond excited and even happier to know that it was from the actual Ford website images.

I hope you like them as much as I enjoyed making them!!
