Desk Calendars

I have always had an eye on these yearly calendars that Jaded Blossom sells but I've never felt comfortable trying out some projects with them.  Well, this year, I stepped up and bought a handful from them and man am I glad I made that decision!

Earlier in the year while at JoAnne's I found 3x5 picture frames on clearance and they ended up being perfect for these desk calendars.

I cut patterned paper and put them in the space where the photo goes.  I adhered the calendars to the outside of the frame and there it was, a cute little desk calendar.  I sold these babies at my craft fairs this season with a pen and they went over well.  I look forward to making these again next year.

Real Princesses Don't Kiss Toads

This little girl I fell in love with as soon as I found her.  And so had everyone else who has seen her.  I grew up riding horses and I know first hand that my horse was my second love in life. (Because everyone knows a girls first love is her dad.) :)
OK, enough cheese.  lol.

She's in a 8x10 frame back by burlap.
This is one of the items for sale in my store if you wanted to take a peek :)

Jaded Blossom Guest Design Day

Hi All!!!

I'm here today guest designing for Jaded Blossom.
I just love everything that this company has.  From their dies to their stamps, all of their products can be used in a wide variety of ways.
I've recently been working with vinyl more and more and when I was creating some sport bottles for a recent fair I was at, I found this die and wanted to do something a little different from my norm.

I went through the Jaded Blossom Awareness Candies and found the Think Pink saying.
The cancer ribbon was from their Awareness Ribbon Die.
My favorite part of this die is that it's stackable.  The white background is the outer edge die and the hot pink is the insert.  I love that this die set has stitches that imprint onto it and add an extra touch of cuteness.

I'm looking forward to using more of their dies with vinyl in the future for sure!
