Jaded Blossom Monthly Challenge

Hi all... not only am I back but I'm posting twice in one day... Yep, I pulled all my paper out of the boxes and went to work!  Even though my stamps and ink are boxed, I was able to track them down and find what I needed.

While digging in my boxes to find my Halloween stamps I came across a set I have only used once.  I have always wanted to use this adorable witch but never thought of the perfect idea.  well, when i saw the challenge, I knew what I could do.

I created a set of Halloween cards 3 similar but different versions and all very simple to create.

Materials used:
Green, orange, and purple cardstock
Halloween themed background paper
Green, orange, and purple chalk ink
Timeless Twine - Black & Kraft
1 1/2 inch EK Tools scalloped circle punch
1 inch EK Tools circle punch
At You Spika Pens

I sure hope you like them.  They were a great start back into my crafting world.
Thanks JB ladies for creating yet another great challenge.

~Enjoy~

I'm Back!

I know, I know. It's been a really long time since I've posted on my blog and I apologize from the bottom of my heart to everyone who's been checking my page. My husband and I recently (well, 3 months ago) bought a home on some property in an area we've dreamed of living in for the last 7 years. Needless to day, not only have we been busy setting up our life here but my crafts have been in boxes.

I got most of my items unpacked and organized and the only thing I could think of was making a wreath for our front door. I found an idea that I loved and went to work. Here's the pictures I found for inspiration... That's right, I'm a pinner. Addicting. lol

And here's what the final product ended up looking like.

Materials used:
Grapevine wreath
Burlap tape
Burlap ribbon (green and natural)
White country fabric
Lots of hot glue
Wide ribbon to hang

I sure hope you like it.  I'm pretty sure I smile and admire it daily when I open the door to come into the house.
